Good nutrition is essential to health. Lack of adequate nutrition can hasten the onset of illness, delay recovery from illness, injury or surgery and contribute to the frailty of old age. Yet many seniors or ill people do not get good nutrition because they may not feel well enough to shop and cook for themselves or be knowledgeable about what to eat and how to prepare it.
Our Home Meals service assists seniors to stay healthy in their own homes as they age, supports other recovering from illness, surgery, childbirth and assists their caregivers. "I don't know how I'd manage without them!" says one of our satisfied "customers".
