Our Home Meals service helps seniors to stay healthy in their own homes as they age, supports others recovering from illness, surgery, childbirth and assists their caregivers. "I don't know how I'd manage without them!" says one of our satisfied "customers".
 

Good nutrition is essential to health. Lack of adequate nutrition can hasten the onset of illness, delay recovery from illness, injury or surgery and contribute to the frailty of old age. Yet many seniors or ill people do not get good nutrition because they may not feel well enough to shop and cook for themselves or be knowledgeable about what to eat and how to prepare it.

​These tasty, nutritious, fresh meals are cooked by the Chef at Ironwood Place in Campbell River. The cost is a nominal $8 (Ironwood's cost to us) for a full meal with fish or meat, vegetables, and a starch. Meals come frozen and can be reheated.
