FRIDAY LUNCH
For everyone over age 55 or anyone interested in getting to know others in our community, please join us Fridays from September through June. We offer lots of laughter, caring, and fun activities, including outings to local attractions and shared events with other seniors groups.
Location
Royal Canadian Legion Branch #154 in Heriot Bay.
Menu
Delicious lunches are prepared by a local chef, guest cooks and volunteers. Vegetarian and gluten-free diets can usually be accommodated. A suggested donation of $5.00 is greatly appreciated as it helps with the cost of the food. We welcome volunteers to help with clean up after lunch.
Format
11:00 am armchair exercises with Ann Lawrence or guest trainers
12:00 lunch is served
Following lunch, there may be presentations featuring entertainment, educational speakers covering topics suggested by the group or stories from our members about their own or local history.
